FAQ
Event Melt is a community to help people to melt into the UK society, a community for professionals and founders immigrating to the UK to make a career or set up a business. They are courageous yet vulnerable in the nation as they must make ends meet and simultaneously adapt to the culture. On Event Melt, people can share their insights from tax regulations and funding opportunities to renting a property. Members can create topics and groups, add connections or publish their event to attract audiences. Unlike other sites, where self-promotion is not allowed, we encourage members to shout for themselves under the heading “Shout”.
We enjoy solving problems to make a change in society. The Visa business is a chain industry in the UK. The nation has a greater number of agencies making money by facilitating visas, from student visa, high potential individual visa to startup visa and innovator visa, but we need an ecosystem to assist professionals once they arrive. Since I believe all change begins with simple steps, this forum is taking the initiative to address this issue. We came here for the British culture, let us work together to make this country more inclusive and dynamic.
We will assign different roles to members depending on their engagement and contributions to the community. If you didn’t register, you are a Spectator and can only view the topics and replies. You will instantly acquire the role of Participant after Register, allowing you to post your articles and events in any areas you are interested in. Your topics and replies are both editable. If you’ve published at least 100 pieces of content and are well known in the community, you can apply to be a Moderator.
